A guy by the name of Charlie Lynn (Michael Voss' Uncle) was a guest speaker during my time at the Brisbane Lions, -
Charlie is a legend when it comes to anything KOKODA his rough as guts style was immediately something I warmed to, but it was more what he did won me over straight away.
Charlie took at "risk street kids" from the Brisbane area to PNG to do the Kokoda track to learn about the history of their forefathers and try to give them the inspiration to "take life on."
It took 16 years to finally get with my trekking mate's Travis Hocart (Kokoda Crossing) Marcus Forbes and Peter Condon (Kokoda Courage) and do my first of many journey's to PNG.
Six trips later we now travel to Nepal and trek around the Annapurna circuit region Via Kathmandu to Pokhara.
And soon more to come in Vietnam NZ, and other journeys in and around the Coral Sea - .
